What part of So Cal you from? Man the weather is nice there, cant beat 72 almost year-round.

Los Angeles area, not too far from the beach - South Bay.

Because I'm close to the ocean, I get more temperature variation than most of LA (I actually heat my house in the winter!), but it rarely gets over 80 or 85, even when the rest of LA is at 100. I just leave the doors open and the afternoon breeze cools it off.
