Im keeping my fingers crossed for you. I really hope it works out. Im so impressed by how hard your trying. Twenty years, most people now a days dont last twenty minutes, one little problem and they bail, you my friend are a rare find, and I believe your hard work and dedication will pay off in the end. She is lucky to have a guy like you to support her. If you run into problems again though I agree with most of the others YOU need to get some help for yourself. Your going thru hell as much as she is and you need shoulders to lean on too.
I have never been thru this myself but a good friend of mine lived with an alcoholic father his whole life, and Alanon was the best thing for him, they supported him and made him stronger for himself and his father.
