New "Proposed" Steriod Policy

So Selig has sent a new proposal to the Players Union that is far more strict than the previous policy. As you know right now it's 10,30,100 I believe. With the new policy it would jump to 60,100, ban for life.

Is the Union going to accept this new policy?

I really doubt they will. I know they probably will do some more negotiating to come up with something more in the middle. I think Bud's new one is great however. If a player got popped then he's out for 60 games. Thats a little over a third of the season. That would make me quit. Also if your stupid enough to get caught three times you don't deserve to play the game anyway.

MLB and the Players have to do something. If they don't congress will step in and make Bud's new policy look nice.

So, what do you think>

I think that the proposed policy is what's needed to clean up baseball. If they show that they aren't serious about 'roids then everything that is accomplished on the field will have doubt cast upon it. I'd rather see less homers & know that the guy hitting them is clean - ya I'm talking about you Barry.

I think congress has no place in determining baseball rules.

Even at the expense of thousands of kids dying who take steriods to compete in High School and Collegic sports? If this wasn't a problem Congress wound not be stepping in.

Fact is kids think steriods is what they need to get that extra edge. Sad thing is that is was.
