Re: The .50 Caliber Reduction Act

schutzenkonig, I'd love to, but for some reason I don't have an edit link anywhere. If a friendly mod would like to delete that pic, it's fine by me. It wasn't really all that necessary.

Sorry 'bout the faux pas.

If they can make it, you should be able to sell it. I don't know the specifics of the ban, but I'm sure someone is going to start manufacturing a 49 caliber...

As far as gun control goes I saw a show one time where they made something that inscribed bullets with a serial number when they were chambered. I think thats about as far as gun control should go. Just make it hurt a lot to shoot someone, that will lower violent crimes.

Or Judge Dredd had an awesome solution... those guns were sweet.

Re: The .50 Caliber Reduction Act

The seriel numbers on bullets were to be inscribed at the factory for 1/2 of a cent PER BULLET. That's 25 cents per box, 25 DOLLARS per case. And that's the cost at production, take it out to the consumer...

Also, with bullets fragmenting, deforming, etc. when they hit something, why the hell do you think that that would do anything?

That, and the people who roll their own could always just scratch it off.
