just to report here , i softmoded my 6800nu , to GT pipelines specs , its a Evga card and all pipelines work perfectly , no artifacts.

went from 8780 3dmarks to 9698 3dmarks

what version of 3DMark? 99, 01, 03, 05? I'm guessing 03

With 3DMark 03, my GeForce 4 MX 440 SE 64MB scored a 186, but my GeForce FX 5700 LE 256MB (yes I know the LE's don't stack to the normal versions let alone the Ultras but it's what I could afford) scored a 2031. However in 3DMark 05, the MX can't even run it and the FX got a 360-390 I forget what it was exactly.

download a software called riva tuner, go to the hardware section, then enable masked lines and enable both of them

this wont work with all 6800NU after you do this run 3dmark 03 SEVERAL times look for artifacts etc, if you dont see any errors then youre good to go and you got your self a 10% boost in performance free.

The easiest way I do it is by going to majorgeeks.com and you'll find it under Benchmarking

3D Mark only test the graphic's card use of Direct3D. If you want to see how your cards does for OpenGL then you want to use GL Excess which is the only one I know of.

at stock 3dmark settings 1024 4xaa i think
