The ones where you only need to buy a drink for and tell them they're hot to get laid. In certain situations that's ok (e.g. vacation because it will be nothing more than a sexual thingy anyway) but in normal life I tend to avoid those. I'm more the guy who just keeps waiting until he finds a very good one. My friends used to poke fun at me for that.... Until I find myself one, who was hotter without make-up then most celebrities with make-up and happend to have an adorable personality too. They never said a thing about it after that :happycow:. I guess I pretty much them.

Re: Flirting
I'm a rigidly compartmentalised flirt.......only flirt when there is very little chance of having my bluff called.....I also think quite a few women use flirting as a kind of ethical or moral hurdle.....if you show me yours, I'll show you mine, type of challenge.....sort of testing the sexual water....perfect opportunity to be caught with your pants round your ankles..grin...and even shy guys are a lot more up front in declaring their intentions......Flirting can be great fun if you both play by the same rules...and can just be cruel if not. Personally I prefer a level playing ground

Re: Flirting
for me personally i think the problem is that i flirt usually shamelessly... humour is the best way to go about it and then not follow it up. I have no problems talking with all types of women and have a great time then just kinda freeze up when it comes to asking them out. Would of thought it would be easy since i have only ever been knocked back twice when i have asked but each time it still feels really hard to do. Fear of rejection is the hardest thing to deal with i think even if you have a good success rate.

Re: Flirting
I flirt a lot. I'm plagued by it. I can't help it. My gf and I are at a restaurant and she always tells me to "Stop flirting with the waitress." and either I don't notice it or she's too self-conscious about it. I'll spin anything that has an inuendo in it and crack a joke about it. I don't know if it's a problem or what, but whatever it is, it sure is fun and I get away with a lot.

But it wasn't like annoying whorey flirting, i was just kinda friendly and listened to people and was attentive (but not all touchy and aggressive). Grr, i can't fully explain it, obviously since i wasn't aware of it, hehe.
Nowadays i flirt for shits and giggles like with a waiter or friends or we're both just flirtin like at a bar or something to pass time. It's much easier with chicks than with guys but i think that's just cause i'm so much more comfortable around chicks and it doesn't mean anything.
Hehe, hopefully this made sense.

I have to say that this is me too! I didn't notice I was flirting until my friends pointed it out. just gotta love your friends! Now a days I don't really try to flirt but I guess I still do. I think its because some guys take flirting way to seriously and they get the wrong impression.
