Not that kind of problem, get your mind out of the gutter, a little at least. I've got some video files .AVI that I can't play. Media player plays audio only, Quicktime can't open it, and DivX can't open it, RealOne player can't, MusicMatch cant, and Winamp can't. It's all movies I've downloaded here. If anyone can help, I'd be very gratefull.

Thanks,

Tubaman

Re: I have a problem

DivX 2.5.4 I got it from the divx site, so I guess it's the current one. I'll try the bsplayer. I think I've heard about it for Linux, but not windows. Thanks for the help.

Re: I have a problem

Found it. Kinda easy bsplayer.org but I got the Divx to work. Apperently you can't drag mutiple files to it to play, that or the update I downloaded just a little bit ago fixed it. either way, thanks y'all.

Re: I have a problem

Hi,
You could try these sites:

AviCodec – By Philippe Duby
Find out what codec was used to create a video file
Also other mainly codec/player related info
http://avicodec.duby.info

DivX - DivX 5.1.1 codec.
Make sure you choose the standard free codec, not the pro one with adverts !
http://www.divx.com/divx/

DivX Movies - DivX download & Info Site (This one works fine)
http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/

FourCC - Huge list of codecs
http://www.fourcc.org

Webatrz - Site suggested by Irfanview when it can't play a file
www.webatrz.com/fourcc/indexcod.htm
