is there any way (or program) that will allow me to erase my hard drive all the way back to when it left the factory? **preferably with an OS still on it.
I've tried system restore, and it only goes back a couple months.

any help is much appreciated.

Some computers come with a disk called recovery which you can use to erase and set your computer up to what it was when you got it.
