Exactly the point I was trying to make. It's like, why does a zygote that lasts a single cell organism for all of a half hour not life, but a 3rd trimester fetus is? When does that whole moral thing become moral? 2nd trimester, 3rd? After its born? It can become an inconvenience at 3rd trimester, and then after its born, what if you don't want the infant to be adopted? Why don't women have the right to hold the kids under water for a bit?

And if someone is going to say a 3rd trimester fetus isn't, what about those of us born in the 2nd trimester. That 3rd trimester fetus is more developed than I was when I was born, yet I'd be considered a person, and it not?
As Sherman T. Potter would say, "Horsehockey!"

We have a married couple, that have been practicing safe sex, only to have that 1 in a million happen. They are already older and have teenagers and careers.
I am just tossing out situations. I cannot really comment, because I never had to be in the situation.
I agree, that if a woman is whoring around, and gets Abortions to keep whoring, she should have to have some consequences, but to force her to keep the child is not a good answer, for the child.
I am just glad I am a man, and do not have to deal with that personally.

Well if she's a crack whore, hopefully Children's Services would take the child from her at the earliest opportunity and put it in foster care or up for adoption.
As for the child, lots of people have and continue to grow up in some pretty hellish home environments and end up decent members of society. To kill the kid because you THINK it's going to have a terrible life and not end up as anything useful is REALLY not a good answer.

Some of you anti-abortion people may not know this but a child can't even survive on it's own unless he/she is at least 22 weeks old, and then is probably in for an extensive amount of time in the NICU.

I can attest to the 22 weeks part.
Personally.
And yeah 3 months in NICU is pretty extensive.

Re: at what time does life begins ? your points of view about abortion?
How is aborting a child in the case of rape or incest anything less than murder to a pro-lifer? Is it simply a justified form of murder?
Should we start imprisoning or even executing the born children of convicted rapists?

A justified form of murder? Admittedly I'd have to say yes IMHO.
But balancing that against having to bear a child that only serves as a continual reminder of an already heinous crime, and continual victimization at that? That's a price I'd say that justifies the act of murder in this case, especially when I'd expect most abortions in such cases would be performed quite early in the pregnancy, before the child has gained sentience.
Imprisoning or executing the children once they've been born however, is ridiculous.
