Re: 360 : Airport Trouble ?
I would definitely carry it on, but I took my Playstation to Arizona a few years back with no problems. It's no different than a laptop, probably. Most people recognize it as a console and not a bomb. I think you'll be fine, but if you are really worried, call the airline or the airport security people.

Re: 360 : Airport Trouble ?
They might "dust" it or use a device to detect small amounts of explosives like they do on laptops, depending on the airport, but you should be fine. I would carry it on for sure, I've seen baggage handlers sling bags six feet in the air.

Re: 360 : Airport Trouble ?
Yeah carry it on, especially the 360's issues with dry solder joints and motherboard creep. Best to insure it's getting the least amount of smacking around Just don't let an idiots shunt it around in the overhead.
If you're worried about security getting their noses up, see if EB has labeled carry bags for them (I know you can get them for the Wii at least)
Then it's obvious to security what it is

The disadvantage to the labeled bags is that then EVERYONE knows what you're carrying, not just security. I'm not saying there's a huge chance someone will steal it from you, but the chance is definitely higher when you wear a sign proclaiming what you're carrying.
