thanks, when i dl the second part, it saves as a 002 document not avi, how can i change it? because i need them in avi so i can convert them to watch them on my ipod thanks

You need to use hjsplit to rejoin both parts, then it'll be a fully working avi
Its available here http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/
Its very easy to use, but just in case, here's how you do it..
Download the hjsplit exe to your pc, double click your left mouse button to open
Select the Join option, then click: Input file
Locate the parts you want to re-join (only 1 of the 2 parts will be displayed) click on that part & select open..
Finaly, click Start & it'll begin joining the video back together..

Thanks for the link(and the movie of course). I didn't have a problem with playing the file, but this is most useful.

VLC media player combines both parts when I'm playing it into an temp image file, but the original file remains split afterwards(which is a bit annoying).

Hah.. I really didn't know that..
I use VLC all the time for avi's & previewing kvcd image files n the like, but it never even entered my head you could use it like that.
Its range of capability continues to make a laughing stock of its (ahem) rivals..

thanks alot for the link, i did what you said but i clicked on join only the 1st part showed up(it said that even though 002 didnt show up that it would be joined), i did it but it only converted part 1, any reason why?

Maybe the second part wasn't in the same directory .

Like Viper said.. both parts need to be in the same folder..
Oh & make sure you've not renamed either of the 2 parts prior to joining, they need to have the same extension, they came with!
