Everything is hackable if you set your mind to it.

i don't own a Mac, but i guess its a very stable OS (compared to Windows).

it would be an interesting event, i think it'll be a hard "crack" just in case someone figured it out... keep us posted ;-)

Update : http://news.com.com/MacBook+hacked+...ml?tag=nefd.top

It seemed as if there were rules on the first day, and noone could crack it so they loosened the rules. Im guessing if there are no rules it would have made it easier?

CanSecWest organizers relaxed the rules Friday after nobody at the event had breached either of the Macs on the previous day.

I wasn't aware there were "rules" to hacking.

Hacking is hacking. Rules make it nothing more than a silly game. If someone can "Hack" into it by whatever means they choose, then it's been hacked.

If Apple was so sure that their shit couldn't be hacked, they wouldn't need any rules now, would they?

Re: Hack a Mac, win $10,000

Thats right if they believe that there puters cant be hacked then why have rules? The reason is they can be hacked! I told my friend about this and we just hacked a G4 last night. Didnt take that long either took 2 mins 37 seconds to get in grab some data and get out. We did use one prog twice though but did get in.
