That's pretty funny. Give him a break though, the closest hockey to him is the Colombus BJers.

Columbus Blowjobbers? Just kidding.
Pronger should be done for the playoffs, instead he just gets a one game suspension. Oh well. Maybe I'm still mad because I'm an Oilers fan.

You guys have the dumbest franchise ever. First the Great One, then Pronger, now Ryan Smith

Re: Playoff Hockey Thread
You can't keep a player that doesn't want to be there.
You can't blame the Oilers for being small market and not being able to afford to keep some players after the 80's run.
You can blame them for the Smyth fiasco, although he isn't without blame.
I also want to point out that of all of the Ducks stars, only 2 aren't Canadian (And let's not forget about the coach & GM, and non are from SoCal...so why is everyone talking like they need the Sens to "Bring the Cup Home"? Where do you thin kit will spend most of it's time anyway?
I also want to say that anyone that brings up European Captains most likely thought Black QB's would never make it in the NFL. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't. It will just take the right guy on the right team. Just look at the Swedish national team...Olympic Gold.

Re: Playoff Hockey Thread
You've never heard that complaint?
No team with a European captain has ever won the Stanley Cup (Save for Hatcher in '99 every captain has been Canadian) and the complaint goes that the Euro players are too soft spoken and don't have the North American guts and drive to lead a team through 4 rounds of hell to win it all.
BS, but that's what they say.

No shit? I actually haven't heard that before. I will definitley fly the b.s. flag on that one. I have faith that the Lid will carry us to one more before he's done.

I kinda think it's our turn to win.
You had your time.
Now I think our Swede needs to get it done.

Re: Playoff Hockey Thread
I'm sure your lions have more championships than ours will ever have. :nosarcasm:
Are you watching the draft? I think I've only heard of about 10 of these guys. A couple of them look damn good on the highlight reels though. I'm waiting to see if Eric Ehn gets picked this time. He plays for airforce and was a friend in highschool.
