Re: Is anyone having trouble with system restore

What exactly do you mean when you say that system restore doesn't work? Can you describe what happens and what you observe?

Have you ever set up the system restore so you can do a system restore.

Re: Is anyone having trouble with system restore

heh ...

hp puts a lot of crap on the front end of windows (like putting a dress on a pig) ... it is supposed to make things easier ... buuuuttt ...

have you looked thru the hp side of "restore" ? a lot of the hp comps i have seen have restore points turned on from the factory , or one was created before the system was shipped .
i will assume that you have sys admin rights in windows .
