Sony Ericsson W810i Camera Lens Cover Solution
Hey!
For anyone owning or thinking about buying one of these great phones, and does not like the idea of the lens being exposed, here is the perfect solution. Purchase a Back Plate and Battery Door for a Sony Ericsson K750 (www.cnn.cn sells 'em cheap and oem). You then simply need to unscrew the original w810i back plate off (with very fine phillips screwdriver), and pop on the new K750 plate. The only slight mod you need to make is to cut off a tiny tab on the inside of the K750 plate (see info from this link: http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...ight=w810i+k750 ). Looks and works great!
