cell phone purchase question

Have to replace a cell phone and don't want to extend my contract. Can't seem to find a decent one for anything that even resembles a fair price. Anybody have any secrets to success in this department?

Re: cell phone purchase question

I've had some friends that had luck on e-bay or buying them from a person who recently upgraded. A word of caution on phones from e-bay. Read all the fine print and make sure they have a return policy. One guy bought one but couldn't activate it cause the person he bought it from never paid his last bill, so the serial number for the phone was frozen till the bill was paid.

Re: cell phone purchase question

Yeah id suggest ebay also, my friend has bought like 3 phones in mint condition off of ebay. Look to see if its a reliable ebay business, i wouldnt reccomend buying from some dude who wants to get rid of his phone. At least with the unlocked phones you get from the business's, theres no logos all over them, and there brand new. Make sure your service provider works with the phone too. Also everything cinnamon said.

anybody know if the new motorolla Razr Slvr L7 works with verizon? The brand new non flip version im pretty sure thats what its called.
