Just watched the movie last night. Pretty good, wasnt expecting to be entertained, while insanely intoxicated.

But, back to my point, Charlize Theron in the movie is a hooker. Is it ok to whore yourself if its all you can do ( i know theyre always choices, but indulge me)? And is the first murder she commits ok because of the circumstances?

For those that havent seen it, its a great movie, and you should watch it.

i think in some cases the laws or nature are a lot more important than the laws of the united states. in this case, she needed to do this to survive. if it keeps her alive, i figure that im in no position to criticize her for it. sure there are always choices, but it keeps her alive, and doesnt harm anybody else. actually, it makes them feel pretty damn good (assuming she was good at what she did).

and the first murder, its absolutely justified. the guy beat the shit out of her. it was the ones after the first one that were where it went wrong, i think.

true that. i found myself so not attracted to her. and the girl-girl makeout scenes were actually gross instead of it being cool to see chrlize theron and christina ricci all over each other. i kind of wanted to turn away.

a) I think if you respect yourself prostitution is fine

b) Murder is never justified... Again, if you respect yourself, there are other options... and really, options that will cause the other party much more grief than killing them.

Great movie. . . I agree. I just saw it the other day too. Charlize Theron was amazing in it. . . pretty damn convincing as a prostitute.

The first murder was definitely justified. The guy was a rapist scum creep. I felt sorry for the nice old man though! Guy didn't deserve to die.

Is it okay to prostitute yourself to make by? In my opinion, yeah. But the problems it might lead to later might be irrepairable. Exactly what happened to Charlize's character in the movie.
