at our local walmart there have been people camping out for over 48 hours just to get a ps3.. at my target store they were calling to see when they could line up and will be outside for over 36 hours.. Its below freezing out overnight and just above during the day.. I actually hope it rains so their sleeping bags get wet then starts to freeze. Bungholes...


We got to set the display up last night. decent system as far as I can tell, they skimped on the hard drive space IMO.. 60 gigs?? You can get a 250 gig HD for 100 bucks. other than that, the one game i saw being played, I didn't get to try it myself, Didn't look that fun.. Graphics were great but graphics are not everything.

i work at a futurshop here in downtown toronto, and it was hectic, some ppl were really angry that we didn't get enough, but tahts not our fault. but umm, when u say the 60GB is not worth it, u have to realize that the system has 8 friggen processors... one game i was told in one game is used completely on a character's hair...

and those lineups were great, one kids tent started flying away one morning. and the first two ppl go paid off by som rich fuck who paid 800 to each of the first 2 ppl. i'd camp out for 48 hrs just to get 800, i mean cmon, he spent 1400 in stork, buying 2 consoles,(he lent cash to his buddy with him.) but fuck, i wanna be that rich, or at least get 800. good news to sony fans, i haven't seen n e ps3 returns yet, but the 360 was on special, $50 off, so i got one for myself with Gears of war and 3 other games... now that was a deal. NOTE TO CONSUMERS, its always a good idea to buy those "Service plans" for best buy and Future Shop dont listne to those articles written in the paper to not buy extended warranty, bc thats not what they are. These plans cover longer periods of time and basically everything but physical damage. GOO WII

well they are selling on ebay for 3k & up, 2.5k if you're lucky.

so if the dude laid out 1600 to get the spots in line, then 1400 for the units, he will still likely make 2k off the deal once he sells them.

I saw a couple go for $9,999 on Ebay today. A guy I work with camped out for 3 days to get one and he's not selling it.

X-Play had some not so rave reviews on three of the launch games. Resistence Fall Of Man did however grab a 5 out of 5.

I know you can't really see a consoles true colors from launch titles but.....I'm sticking with the 360.

i watched one on eBay sell for $4,850! that means this dude made approx $4,350 profit! i personally am going to wait till the beginning of the year to even consider getting one. although a buddy of mine got one and didnt sell...its an amazing console to be honest. better graphics and interface than XBOX360 IMO...

Had two, sold both of them. I'm happy with my 360 and there was just too much profit to be had.
