How do I know if I'm really in love with my girlfriend? I would do anything to make her happy. Please let me know how one knows if it is really love.

That's a question I'm afraid to answer. I'd say when the butterflies in your stomach disappear and you're still as happy to see her. When you're willing to forgive mistakes that she may have or is going to make.

I realized I loved my GF when I thought about how I would feel if she all of a sudden left or moved or if she were to die the next day. I was terrified of the idea because I knew that I wanted to hold on to this woman for the rest of my life because she was the one that I didn't want to be without.

If it's just infatuation you'll probably still get butterflies in your stomach, and if she were to move away or cheat on you, you'd be upset (maybe depressed a bit) but life would go on without her.

Being in love creates a bond between two people that will be hard to break. You love your mom and dad, but in a different way - yet love is love...if you feel that same feeling you get when you think about how you'd do anything for your family with your GF then you're probably in love.

No, this is not my first girl its just really the first one that I really really enjoy bein with(with or without sex). I am always happy to see her and can't think what it would be like without her. My age is on my profile -24

Ok if you have been with her for say a month or two - you are still infatuated with her and that feeling will go away. Thats why you see every couple going like a buzz for the first few months and if during those first few months you don't click there won't be much of a future for you guys at all.

How do you know its love? Come back in a year or two and if you still feel exactly the same way about her there is a good possiblity that you love her.
